They are a Vertical company that is best known for their Wallace & Gromit animations and the film, Chicken Run. It was founded in 1972 by Peter Lord and David Sproxton as they wanted to make an animated film. Their first animation work was for segments on a show called "Vision On" and it was working on a claymation segment that inspired them to make "Morph".

They are a Brighton based animation company that produces 2D and 3D animation for clients such as Google, Nickelodeon, CBBC and Nokia. They produce animation for things like TV adverts, idents while also producing graphics for Flash animation and assets for online games. AnimNation is owned by Sarah Bird and according to the website, she does all the work. This is a horizontal company.

The industry where all kinds of media is used for a very wide range of website types. Websites like YouTube can be used for hosting videos for either web shows or personal use.
